This page explains how to delete your Loreon account and what happens to your data. You can read it without signing in. Deleting the account itself requires you to sign in and confirm, so that no one else can delete your account for you.
1. Delete your account from the app
- Open Loreon and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm your identity by signing in again with the provider linked to your account (Google or Telegram).
- Type DELETE to confirm, and submit the request.
Your account is then scheduled for deletion and signed out on every device.
2. If you can't sign in
If you can no longer access the app or your sign-in provider, email us from the address associated with your account and we will help you delete it:
We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before we proceed.
3. The 30-day recovery window
When you confirm deletion, your account enters a 30-day recovery window:
- During these 30 days your account is hidden and you are signed out everywhere.
- If you change your mind, sign in again within 30 days — you'll see a prompt asking whether to keep your account. Choose Keep my account to cancel the deletion and restore everything.
- After 30 days, your account and its associated data are permanently deleted.
4. What is deleted
After the recovery window ends, we permanently delete the data associated with your account, including:
- Your profile and sign-in identities (Google / Telegram links)
- Your stories, play history, and saved sessions
- Your favorites and lists
- Your Story Keys and Action balances
- Notification subscriptions and usage or diagnostic records tied to you
5. What we keep
- We do not store your full payment card details. The legal record of any transaction is held by our payment processor (Google Play or Paddle) under their own retention policy, not by Loreon.
- Any data we are required to retain for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes is kept only for as long as the law requires, and is deleted or fully anonymized afterwards so it can no longer be linked to you.
6. Active subscriptions
If you have an active paid subscription, it is cancelled as part of the deletion so that you are not billed again. Where a subscription is managed by an app store, you may also need to cancel it in that store's subscription settings.
7. Playing as a guest
If you played without signing in, you don't have an account to delete. You can remove your on-device data at any time from Profile → Clear my data, which resets this device. Guest data held on our servers is deleted after an extended period of inactivity.
