What is Loreon?
Loreon is an AI-powered interactive story game. You pick a world from a curated library, then act however you like — type any action in free text or take a suggested choice — and an AI narrator responds while the game tracks objectives, inventory, and consequences. Every story has a real arc and real endings. It runs in your browser at loreon.online and as an Android app on Google Play.
Can I type my own actions, or is it multiple choice?
You can type anything — free-text actions are the core of how Loreon plays. Say it, do it, or try it, and the narrator responds; the world absorbs even actions the story never anticipated. Suggested choices sit alongside the input box for when you want a nudge, not instead of it.
Is Loreon free?
Free to start, and free to keep playing a little every day: you can begin as a guest, new readers get story keys and actions as welcome and sign-up rewards, and signed-in readers can claim a free daily reward of actions — with story keys dropping regularly. For more than the daily pace, you continue with a subscription or a one-time pack, and anything you purchase never expires.
How much does Loreon cost?
Subscriptions: Starter $6.99, Plus $14.99, and Pro $27.99 per month (or $69.99, $149.99, and $279.99 yearly). One-time packs cost $1.99, $5.49, or $12.99, and their actions and story keys never expire. A 14-day refund window applies to all purchases.
What are actions and story keys?
Story keys permanently unlock stories into your collection. Actions are consumed as you progress through a story and make decisions. Subscription allowances reset each billing cycle, while resources from one-time packs are permanent.
How does Loreon work?
Each turn you act — type any action of your own, or take one of the suggested choices. The AI narrator continues the story from what you did while a game engine tracks state: skill checks, objectives, inventory, and character bonds. Your path leads to one of the story’s real endings.
What languages does Loreon support?
English, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Japanese. Published stories are localized per language — including their canon, art titles, and interface — rather than machine-translated on the fly.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Loreon runs in the browser on phone, tablet, and desktop. If you prefer an app, install Loreon from Google Play on Android, or add it to your home screen from the browser menu — it is a progressive web app.
How is Loreon different from AI Dungeon, NovelAI, or Character.AI?
The freedom is the same — on Loreon you type any action and the AI responds, just like a sandbox. The difference is what your actions land in: a designed world with tracked state (map, inventory, objectives) and real endings, so the story stays coherent no matter how hard you improvise. AI Dungeon improvises a world from scratch, NovelAI is a writing assistant, and Character.AI is open-ended chat. Detailed comparison pages cover each.
Is Loreon safe? What about mature content?
Loreon is for readers 16 and up, and content policies govern what stories and the AI narrator may include. You can play as a guest, sign in with Google when you want to sync progress, and delete your account and data at any time.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase, for subscriptions and one-time purchases alike. See the refund policy page for how used or consumed resources are handled.
